Выйдя из дома, он оказался в кромешной тьме и услышал чей-то голос. Состояние продлилось меньше секунды, затем он вошел в подсобное помещение и нашел там гаджет, схожий на смартфон и с радостью его включил. По дороге парень принимается изучать функционал новой штуковины. В школе Хиро демонстрирует Мимори и Кадзуки гаджет, полагая, что теперь сможет играть с ними в мобильное приложение. Такума отбирает у Мимори телефон, вступившейся за одного из учеников.
О случившемся узнает Хиро, но Мимиори полагает, что это произошло обоснованно, ведь она проиграла противнику. Хиро не говорит девочке о том, что собирается встретиться с её обидчиком и вернуть телефон. Беседа между парнями состоялась, и решено было играть на смартфон Хиро. Когда начинается игра, Такума узнает о том, что у Хиро это первая партия, и он собирается показать противнику, как следует вести себя. Поначалу новичку везет, но дальнейшая игра указывает на то, что он может проиграть. У Хиро осталась последняя карта и он уверен, что сражение только начинается, пуская в ход Дракона Итниса.
